By means of scraper shovels, which are fixed at regular intervals to an endless scraper chain rotating continuously around a scraper boom, bulk material is being reclaimed from the storage piles. The bulk material, gently pushed by the shovels, slides down the pile respectively slides on the material bed itself to the foot of the pile from where it then passes through a low chute or via a concrete ramp onto the outgoing belt conveyor. Scraper Reclaimers are utilized for reclaiming of bulk materials from pure buffer storages as well as for blending and homogenizing of bulk materials during their handling / processing in storages (always in combination with defined stacking methods). They are an excellent option for handling a wide range of bulk material in almost all industrial applications since they are not only very reliable machines but also because they support an extremely gentle conveying / reclaiming process of bulk products.
