Gauge 140 allows working with textile or synthetic fibers under high tension while maintaining a high degree of precision in braiding. It is used, for example, in nautical or climbing ropes, where the braiding must be perfect, and long lengths without splices are required. Ratera provides various useful and necessary accessories for the correct production of the desired final product. • Different types of take ups at the braiding point, with or without braiding detection. • Single or tension-controlled devices for core control. • Different take off systems, depending on the diameter of the braided product. • Different take up systems for the braided product, on reels of different sizes, in parallel or semi-parallel take ups. Carriers and bobbins for Ecartamiento 140 The high bobbin capacity of Guauge 140 allows for longer ropes to be made without splicing and at the same time minimizes reel changes in the braiding machine. Depending on the desired product to be manufactured, the carriers can be equipped with ceramics of different finishes, pulleys, and springs of the necessary tension. There are two versions of bobbins: • Ø 78×250 mm with a capacity of 962.11 cm³. • Ø 78×280 mm with a capacity of 1,211.27 cm³.
