Ratera specializes in manufacturing take-up units (also called collectors) that work synchronized with the braiding machine or other equipment. The take-up units are used to collect the braided product on a spool or reel. In smaller braiders, the take-up unit is directly incorporated and welded onto the braider according to the customer’s needs. For larger braiders where there is a high capacity requirement, autonomous collectors are the most suitable option. Take-up units for parallel winding to metallic reels. They can work autonomously thanks to a motorized system and clutch mechanism. Space optimization and perfect parallel folding can be achieved thanks to its rolling-ring device with enables winding pitch selection. Several reel sizes are available: Ø 800 x 400 (150,796 cm³) Ø 1050 x 600 (444,142 cm³) Adapted to customer’s bobbin. (Wood, metallic, plastic, … )
