Stop-Logs are large fabricated Steel gates used for control of open channel flow. They enable the sectorization and isolation of equipment and parts of the plant during maintenance operations.
The Stop-Logs board is composed by one or several sections, stacked on top of each other, and are placed in guides embedded in the concrete channel walls.
Stop logs are typically designed to structurally withstand the load from the water pressure at high water level without deflection of the stop gate exceeding 1/360th of the width.
A resilient seal allows for a watertightness Class 1 or 2 as per DIN 19569-9.
The supply includes:
- - Stop-Logs board sections
- - Embedded guides
- - Lifting beam
- - Support structrue
Material selection depends on the particular Project conditions, including but not limited to:
- - Carbon Steel coated with C5m as per ISO 12944
- - Stainless Steel class 304L or 316L
- - Duplex Stainless Steel class S2205
- - Super Duplex Stainless Steel class S2507
