The use of “DIRECT DRIVE” waterjet pumps is recommended for use in applications where the flow rate rather than the actual cutting pressure is most important, especially with low pressure multiple-head applications. This type of pump uses an electric motor to turn the crankshaft attached to 3 or more pistons which generate the pressure and the water flow. Increased water flow for low pressure cutting.
