TEADIT® PL 100 is a PTFE sheet with high compressibility, manufactured through a unique lamination process. This provides a high level of fibrillation and a reduced loss of load and creep, which are inherent deficiencies found on skived PTFE sheets in the market. Due to the chemical properties of PTFE, TEADIT® PL 100 is suitable for sealing a wide variety of chemically aggressive fluids and may also be used in contact with food and pharmaceutical products. It exhibits excellent dimensional stability, torque retention and the best cost-benefit ration among similar materials. The manufacturing process of TEADIT® PL 100 results in a rigid sheet with low density, facilitating the fabrication of lightweight and structured gaskets. This allows for installation even in hard-to-reach areas with limited space for flange opening. Its high compressibility also enables the use of TEADIT® PL 100 gaskets on irregular flanges surfaces. Its non-stick properties make it easy to remove the gaskets after use, without leaving any material residues on the flanges.
