Torque motors execute the rotary movement without mechanical transmission.
This principle eliminates the use of other components, such as gears, pulleys, chains and reducers. The movements are dynamic with low friction and high flexibility. Unlike common servomotors, torque motors consist of only two parts: the stator ring and the rotor ring, which are integrated directly into the machine structure, thereby simplifying the housing. Available in 14 sizes, with a nominal diameter of the stator that ranges from Ø 93mm to Ø 1220mm, and with a stator pack height that ranges from 30mm up to 150mm, which can also be extended on request, and a maximum torque reaching over 30,000 Nm.
With the MK-CI series standard product line, TECHNAI TEAM addresses the most competitive market that looks for an electromagnetic component to create a Direct Drive solution for rotary axes with state-of-the-art features and efficiency in an essential and streamlined configuration.
Industrialised design
The simplified and symmetrical structure of TECHNAI torque motors facilitates and simplifies the construction of adjacent system structures. They are defined as ‘standard’ and have equivalent configurations and dimensions as those offered by other suppliers on the market.
High performance
Speed, Torque and Power are intrinsic characteristics of the electromagnetic design of the motor and determine its physical size.
Defined configuration
They are defined as ‘standard’ and have equivalent configurations and dimensions as those offered by other suppliers on the market.
Energy efficiency
Torque motors reduce energy costs, simplify machine geometry and reduce wear, noise and maintenance.
