Two-axis head with fork structure, optimised for processing moulds on 5-axis machine tools; integrates modules with Technai Direct Drive motors on both axes and is available with electric spindles of up to 24,000 rpm and up to 100Nm, HSK-A63 or HSK-A100 tool holders. The TCH 19 head is designed to equip large machines for mould processing, particularly suitable for plastic injection moulds where the structure of the thin and penetrating electric spindle body is best adapted to the application. The characteristics required by the mould manufacturers are positioning precision of the axis orientation and the stable axis clamping system, without geometric distortions caused by the clamping itself. These are the main strengths: • Excellent high quality axis dynamics of finished processed surfaces. • Stability to thermal drift to obtain optimal and constant volumetric precision of the processed surfaces.
