Fiberglass “Paintstop” filters are designed to capture mist and overspray in spray booths for paint or liquid products. This type of filter is commonly used as a floor filter in enclosed spray booths for automotive body shops or in industrial environments with low paint volumes.
The fiberglass filter is also known as a ‘floor filter,’ ‘paintstop,’ or ‘green paintstop.’ Its price per square meter is advantageous, but its short lifespan makes it less suitable for high-volume industrial operations.
However, this filter can be recommended and used as a secondary filtration level behind a standard or high-capacity pleated cardboard filter.
Since 1992, Technicis Filtration has been a leading manufacturer of paint arresting filters for industrial spray booths.
