Machining center roll-up cover PAT 01 series

These roll-up safety guards for lathe advancing bars are formed from two units of self-roll up rolls which include an oil- and tear-resistant thread. It has been designed for operator protection, the rolling up and unrolling of the units segregating the lathe mother screw from the advancing bars. It thus separates the operator from direct contact with moving parts so as to eliminate the chance of "snagging" of work garments. The roll-up safety guard is made from two units which are attached at the two extremities of the longitudinal carriage. They incorporate a self-sliding roll which is operated by numerous springs from the inside. Spread textile material is used to make the protective ribbon which is resistant to abrasions and coolants. Every unit has been designed specifically for its relative side of the carriage and incorporates the necessary anchorage stirrups.
