The device works with any Tone Generator in wire identification. Its volume can be adjusted to match users’ environment. It comes with a plug receptable for headset or hand set. The Amplifer Probe CT-581A works with 9V battery. The device comes with soft carrying case. The Tone Generation CT-581G is used for locating and identifying cable pairs or individual conductors. It also works as a continuity and polarity tester. It displays test results through a three colored LED display.
