Screw thickener SCRUDRAIN®

When it comes to increasing the D.S. content of sludge, TEKNOFANGHI proposes SCRUDRAIN dynamic thickeners, with the Archimedean screw inside. The products in this series are generally used as pre-thickening for the benefits of filter presses, belt filter presses, centrifuges and even drying beds, achieving higher sludge concentration before de-watering. In addition to this, the sludge thickeners are also used for increasing the sludge concentration before biogas reactors, or simply as filters, for removing coarse materials such as fibers in the textile industry. The D.S. concentration in the outlet from the sludge thickener can be achieved by adjusting the speed of the Archimedeam screw. The standard SCRUDRAIN thickeners, on the other hand, are made of stainless steel of type AISI 304.
