Description

The 7000 series is a self-contained transmitter SMT with a receiver SMR with either a 0.5 ms response time and a 7 metre range or with a 2 ms response time and a 20 metre range . The unit is used in thru-beam mode with an SMP for diffuse proximity and SMRR for retro reflective; an SMPF is also used with fibre optical cables. All the above mentioned parts are offered with sensitivity adjustment via integral potentiometer and can be used with both cable or plug connection. The complete series is on offer as 4 wire, NPN, PNP transmitor output - or 4 wire ambivalent PNP/PNP output with a 10-30 V dc supply voltage. The control input in the SMT is used for disabling or enabling the transmitting power temporarily for test purpose or multiplexing applications.
