This light curtain system is distributed under the name of SG 2 and is one of the most advanced systems of its kind, being designed for the modernization of elevator doors, consisting of a self-contained transmitter detector, as well as a SGR and SGT receiver, positioned opposite of each other. The detectors are all housed in a profile made of aluminum, which is available in a high quality slim line design. Note that the SGR comes supplied with a DC power supply of 12 to 36 V, while the solid state relay output and the wire selectable light or dark functions are also worth mentioning. Next, the test input in the SGT may also be used for enabling or disabling the transmitting power for test purposes.
