Teledyne’s Radioisotope Thermoelectric generator (RTG) is very popular for space and terrestrial applications due to its high specific energy, high reliability, and maintenance free design. The generator uses a radioisotope heat source to provide a steady, long lasting temperature differential. This heat source in combined with our solid state thermoelectric modules to convert heat to electricity.​​
