The Hydra IIC from Teledyne Leeman Labs, is a fully automated mercury (Hg) analyzer. This mercury analyzer measures mercury in solid and semi-solid sample matrices directly without any acid digestion. The system uses the technique of sample combustion (thermal decomposition), mercury concentration via gold amalgamation and detection by cold vapor atomic absorption. The Hydra IIC does not need any sample preparation, and by that, the user can save time and money, as well as avoid waste and the hassle of disposing those waste. It is matrix independent, and is easy to calibrate. It has wide dynamic range with extended range options. With its simple "plug and play" design, it makes the precautionary maintenance easy, quick, and effortless.
