Description
The FerriteCheck 240 ferrite content meter is the ideal instrument for precise measurement of ferrite content in austenitic and Duplex steels, in accordance with EN ISO 8249 standard using the magneto-inductive method.
It is used in applications where ferrite content control is crucial, such as in Duplex steel welded joints. In these areas, an adequate level of ferrite is essential to ensure weld strength, which can be compromised by insufficient heat input or cooling.
