The Temposonics are position detectors capable of analyzing up to 30 positions along a familiar axis, by employing only one sensor. An adequate number of spot magnets generate an independent transmission. Every magnet is fastened to an adjustable machine component. Numerous positions can be sensed instantaneously, saving a variety of components in correlation to the traditional displacement detectors and rotary encoders. Due to the limited number of spot analysis systems and the miniature structure of this equipment, displacement measurement and area necessities require less cost. Multi-position analysis is available for all detectors with field-bus software, whereby CANbus and Profibus detectors are capable of concurrent analysis up to 30 spots. The version with EtherCAT output offers measurement of up to 20 positions in one cycle in the serial mode.
