Linear position sensor MH-Series MS

The MS sensor is a model from the Temposonics® MH-Series Position Sensors, and is manufactured by MTS Sensors. Used as a small magnetostrictive sensor for mobile hydraulics, the unit would also have a 100g shock rating, an accuracy of 100 V/m EMI, and linearity tolerance < ± 0,04%. Non-contact sensing is possible, as well as linear measurement in hydraulic cylinders. The MS sensor may be used to replace measuring potentiometer and inductive position sensors. The direct analog displacement output is composed of current and voltage, and the device works with a power supply of 12/24 VDC. It is immune to electromagnetic HF-fields that range up to 100 V/m. The MS sensor may also make a connection to the Temposonics® M12 connector system and other proven mobile connectors.
