Resistant and flexible, BAS-TEX® Basalt Fiber Textile Products are specially designed for the production of Ropes, Sleeves, Braids, Ribbons and Fabrics for high temperatures. Tespe BAS-TEX® Textile Products are made of twisted, textured and voluminized Basalt Fiber Yarns giving the product greater lightness and flexibility and increasing the degree of thermal insulation. They are inorganic, sterile, non-combustible and contain no toxic substances or heavy metals; they are totally without asbestos and do not cause irritation.
