This fiber has exceptional flame and heat resistance and exceptional abrasion resistance, far superior to aramid fibers. Depending on the end uses and finishing requirements of the product, the yarns used may be: Regenerated discontinuous fiber: Type "D" Pure long fiber: Type "S" With a virgin filament continuous: Type "C"
