Technical Fabrics for Thermal Insulation and for the production of insulating and protection articles for high temperatures such as spark arrestor blankets, insulation cushions, expansion joints, heat protective gloves and clothing
From the weaving of the yarns are obtained fabrics of different weight, thickness and various types of reinforcement (weaving) and, depending on the uses, they can also be supplied with special surface finish treatments, such as: CARAMEL TEXTILES It consists of a controlled heat treatment, which has the purpose of eliminating the organic substances inside the glass yarns and which gives these fabrics the classic caramel colour, so that they do not develop fumes at the first heating; they are also softer and easier to handle, with limited fraying and less dispersion of fibers right during handling.
OPENED FABRICS Impregnation increases the resistance of the fabric to surface abrasion and limits the fraying as well as the dispersion of dust during handling.
ADHESIVE FABRICS To facilitate the laying of glass fabrics, these are coupled, on one of the two sides, with a double-sided adhesive film (AD); when removing the protective paper, they become self-adhesive and easy to apply. They do not fray when being cut.
