TeX computer's electrospindle is a versatile device, performing equally well at low and high speeds (12,000-17,000 rpm). It can carry out low speed tapping operations and high speed swarf removal, without any compensators. This makes it an ideal choice for flexible machines.
The electrospindle features forced air cooling, range being 4 kW and 9 kW with constant torque, and an ISO 30 DIN 69871 compliant tool coupling (HSK E 40 on request). Three miniaturized sensors provide uniterrupted monitoring during tool changing, to ensure that the tool is properly gripped in the cone.
