During production processes involving molten aluminium, it is often necessary to filter the metal to eliminate impurities, inclusions and slag before the casting. The manufactured articles made of filtering fabric produced by Texpack® facilitate the removal of these unwanted particles. The range of products in filtering fabric consists of glass fabrics coated either with a phenolic resin or a fine ceramic mixture to guarantee that the product remains intact during use. The filters can be produced with different fabrics and the Texpack® technical staff is at the customers’ disposal to evaluate the best filtering solution to be adopted. Applications Foundries
