Thermaltexcord is a sealing and insulating gasket, made by braiding Thermaltex yarns with high thermal and mechanical resistance. The core of the packing is made of ceramic fibres resistant to very high temperatures . The combination of the technical characteristics of the Thermaltex yarn and the ceramic fibre makes the Thermaltexcord packing particularly suitable for static sealing applications at a maximum temperature. The main features are softness and flexibility. Applications Industrial furnaces, boilers, insulation of piping and wiring, aluminium and steel industry, other types of seals.
