Tricoptape tape is made entirely from 6-9 μm glass yarns that withstand temperatures . The main characteristic is production by needle weaving, which makes the tape elastic, soft and supple. Tricotape tape is a good alternative to the traditional tape made of glass fibres where a higher compression is required in order to guarantee a secure seal. In order to facilitate application, it can be supplied with an adhesive side (the adhesive withstands a maximum temperature of 90°C and is used only for positioning the tape).
