Description

Sintering technology corresponds to the compacting of a metal powder. Sintering makes it possible to obtain parts with great geometric precision, from a few grams to several kilos, and able to withstand significant mechanical forces. This technology is suitable for uni-axial part designs. The first step is to compact the material in the tooling, then it goes into a high temperature sintering tunnel furnace to give it the desired mechanical properties (strength, hardness). Technical characteristics : Standard density on steels: 6.8 - 6.9 gr / cm3 / Higher density on request Maximum diameter: 120mm Maximum height: 40mm Thickness: from 2mm Materials worked : Stainless steels: 303/316 Sintered steels (Sint D11 / Sint D39 / Sint D30 etc ...) Bronze Other shades on request Finishing operations : Calibration Resumption in machining Heat treatment Surface treatment Quantities: From 500 pieces (from prototype to large series)
