Description
On-edge feeding unit for various product shapes
The 'Slug Forming Feeder' (SFF), is a cooperation between a racetrack system and robot system. Products are lined up, checked by a camera inspection unit for quality control, and transferred to an on-edge slug by the racetrack. The robot positions the roll to the infeed of the packaging equipment. A buffer system can also be integrated.
