THB's deep groove ball bearing is composed of an inner ring, an outer ring, steel balls, and a cage. The inner and outer ring cannot be separated, thus ensuring the simplicity of the device which makes it easy to use.
It is commonly employed for carrying a radial load, but it can also support a constant axial load. The ball bearing features the function of a radial thrust bearing, which makes it able to carry a larger axial load if its radial clearance is enlarged. The bearing can also limit the axial movement to two directions while permitting a misalignment between the inner and outer ring within 8′~16′. The device is enclosed by a housing made of either pressed steel sheet or machined bass.
