The STC-EnOcean IP gateway allows for an easy integration of EasySens® sensors and actuators into the Internet of Things (IoT). The new EnOcean-over-IP gateway communicates JSON streams or RestAPI command lines. The seamless commissioning and configuration can be done through any browser interface. The graphical dataflow-oriented processing of the EnOcean information can be performed by the integrated free Node-RED editor (https://nodered.org/) and enables simple, rule-based processing of information. It can further be used to send push notifications via SMS/e-Mail, if values exceed thresholds (additional required hardware not included). EasySens® devices can be integrated very easily into cloud-based applications.
