Wireless bluetooth adapter SLKBT

The new Bluebridge™ Adapter SLKBT allows for wireless communication of up to 16 Smartline™ vacuum transducers. The Bluetooth® wireless connection reaches up to 100 m (class 1). To this end, the Bluebridge module is plugged on a transducer which is, where required, connected to further transducers with cables in between, forming an RS485 bus. The transducers are subsequently available in the VacuGraph™ Software on a PC with Bluetooth receiver, where they can be easily configured, monitored as well as tele-controlled, and measuring results can be saved for quality assurance in a comfortable way. Alternatively, a programmable logic control (PLC) can be used as Bluetooth master. The VacuSniff™ App is available for free download in the Google Play ™ Store and can receive measuring values which are transferred on an existing RS485 bus of Smartline products. The RS485 communication of the bus can be controlled by a PC, a PLC or a Thyracont display and control unit. With the app, pressure readings of several transducers can be numerically displayed e.g. on a smartphone or tablet. An integrated alarm feature informs the user as soon as measurements go below or beyond a certain threshold. The user is thus able to keep an eye on the measurements during the installation or service of his appliance. VacuSniff is suited for devices with Android ™ operating system, such as smartphones or tablets. A further field of application is cable replacement, which is particularly interesting in complex constructions.
