Description

The 7000 from Time Electronics is an RTD temperature calibrator. The unit is integrated with a precision digital thermometer that uses RTD probes with an RTD/ohms calibrator. It has a compact design, and is simple to use. Thus, it is a suitable solution for manufacturing problems of high accuracy temperature measurements, without the use of heavy mains powered instrumentation. The unit is powered by internal long life rechargeable batteries, or an external mains adaptor. It is also applicable as an external temperature source for dry block and other precision temperature baths. The callibrator checks RTD probes by measuring their resistance at known temperatures. It measures resistance values and indicates temperature when linked to an RTD probe. The device can also be pre-installed with specific RTD's characteristics to enable high accuracy.
