Description

Timken Belts offers the most complete line of bushings in the industry. QD, tapered bushed and MST bushings to fit all popular sheaves and sprockets are in inventory in a wide range of bore sizes. QD Bushings Tapered Bushed Bushings MST® BushingsVariable Pitch Sheaves “Quick Detachable” bushings are easy to install and remove. They are split through flange and taper to provide a true clamp on the shaft that is the equivalent of a shrink fit. All sizes except JA and H have a set screw over the key to help maintain the bushings position on the shaft until the cap screws are securely tightened. Tapered Bushed Bushings Tapered non-flanged split bushings utilize screws to tighten on the shaft, providing excellent clamping force. Used on sprockets, sheaves and pulleys to increase clamping force over standard bored-to-size product that only utilizes a keyway and setscrew to lock onto the shaft. Their small size and the convenience and advantages of tapered construction make them of great value on many devices. MST® Bushings MST bushings are easy to install and remove. They are split through the barrel and have a taper to provide a true clamp on the shaft. They are keyed to both the shaft and the hub to help during “blind” installations.
