Description
The Strain Gage (SG) series is a line of extensometers manufactured by Tinius Olsen. The device is suitable for use in measuring longitudinal or transverse strain. It can also be utilized in combination to determine ‘r’-value and Poisson's ratio.
The extensometer operates with strain gage resistance changes to determine the travel of knife edges on the sample.
