The Tinius Olsen's full range of torsion testing machines facilitate maximum torsion testing capability & versatility. The capacities of these machines are between 1,000Nm and 30,000Nm. Loading and weighing capabilities in both the direction of rotation is facilitated by these superior torsion testers. This special feature allows convenient determination of the ultimate torque load of a specimen but also the specimen behavior in continuous/intermittent torque loading conditions in both the directions. Variable speed drive loading system and digital control & indicating system are provided in each torsion tester. They come in a fixed unit. The weighing head is accompanied with a strain gauge torque sensor that is mounted on a moveable unit which can be positioned on rails to accommodate varying length specimens. The Tinius Olsen developed software enhances hardware in to a descent quality analysis system.
