Trench was one of the first to deliver the first SF6 insultated Voltage Transformers for gas-insulated switchgears (GIS) in 1965. Now, it offers a wide range of current transformers and voltage transfers of single and three phase SA/SAD and SU/SUD type respectively for applications whose range is from 72.5 kV to 800 kV. In case of three phase, the range extends up to 245 kV.
These transformers have been devised keeping in mind international standards, customized for each specific application. It is an avant-garde design, with intergrated ferroresonance suppression, low annual SF6 leakage, with built-in pressure relief disc and deflection device, ability to withstand up to 20 g of mechanical stress, shock indicators than warn against inadmissible acceleration and immune to transient overvoltages.
The accuracy is in conformity with DIN VDE 0414, IEC 60044, ANSI: IEEE CS7.13, AS 1243 and other standards.
