The ETG bushings that are manufactured by Trench, are used to integrate oil filled transformers directly to SF6 metal clad switchgear or ducting. The epoxy resin impregnated paper range provides high standard in bushing technology. Each unit is tested to ensure its reliability and performance, and to ensure that oil contamination will be prevented. These bushings have common ratings that range from 72.5 kV up to 800 kV. Its design allows differential expansion across the normal operating temperature range. The unit's connecting flange incorporates a self grounding test tapping for enhanced life capacitance and tan delta measurement. Furthermore, the vacuum impregnation of the condenser core gives excellent partial discharge performance. With its oil free solid insulation, threats from fire and explosion are avoided.
