Description
The shunt reactor, manufactured by Trench, is suitable for high voltage energy transmission systems to stabilize the voltage during load modifications. The shunt reactor can be directly connected or switched to the power line by means of a circuit breaker. This is used in reactive power compensation applications that require high voltage transmission lines.
