This intelligent clamp-on ultrasonic sensor for fixed installation detects air and gas bubbles in synthetic fluid tubes. Also applicable for wet/dry alarm notifications. The non-invasive detection process allows the sensor to be used for applications that require hygienic and contamination-free conditions such as in the medical and food industry. The sensor is also suitable for industrial applications such as air bubble detection in tubes filled with adhesives or paint. The sensor is simply clamped onto the tube which enables a quick and uncomplicated changeover. The sensor automatically adapts to dynamically changing acoustic conditions. This guarantees a high degree of measurement stability despite fluctuations in the surrounding environment.
