Description

All based around the rugged U-100 Gearbox Chassis and drive system the U-100 and U-150 Model Shredders come in a variety of motor and chamber sizes. With heavy duty geared motor drive units utilised to drive these machines, power ranges from 75kW up to 110kW and variations in speed ratio and torque depending on application. Several control options are available to best fit customers’ in-house facilities. Electronic Soft-Start as well as VSD options are common and control systems are easily customised to incorporate handling conveyors and other down-stream plant and equipment. In this series of models, a range of knife widths is available from 15.5mm up to 47mm and profile geometry is designed and generated with the end use in mind. Lending itself to large volume shredding applications, the range of products is diverse. Confidential documents, clinical waste, passenger tyres, rigid plastics, electrical goods packaging waste and pallets are all common applications for these models not to mention many unique bespoke applications also.
