Ultrapharma offers a wide range of Orifice Plate gaskets, used to alter flow patterns in critical systems. Orifice plates are made in 316L stainless steel and are standard electro-polished. Standard plates are delivered without hole. An orifice plate is a thin plate with a hole in it, which is usually placed in a pipe. When a fluid passes through the orifice, its pressure builds up slightly upstream of the orifice, but as the fluid is forced to pass through the hole, the velocity increases and the fluid pressure decreases downstream.
