CCM ultrasonic cleaning equipment was specially designed to eliminate heavy contaminants on large industrial parts with the length up to 9m and with the maximum diameter up to 1,5m. The most common application for this large ultrasonic cleaning unit is ultrasonic scale elimination from industrial heat exchangers. A heat exchanger is a system used to transfer heat between two or more fluids. Heat exchangers are used in both cooling and heating processes. During the heat transfer, some sediments can accumulate on the internal surface of the device. This accumulated dirt decreases the performance of heat exchanger and creates energy and performance lost, so regular maintenance and removal of scaling has to be done. Ultratecno performed several case studies to develop the best cleaning procedure for this challenging application and as a result implemented CCM ultrasonic product line.
