The machine is developed in a way that makes it easy to install in an existing flow line as a replacement instead of manual hand salting.
After the filleting line this Dry Salting Unit is dispensing salt on the fillets both on the right and the left side.
The machine can be adjusted in such a way that a larger quantity of salt is dispensed on the back side and a smaller quantity on the belly and tail region. This creates a more homogenous taste of the whole fillets.
The machine requires dry salt and sugar. If the machine is to be placed in a very moist room it must be built into a cabinet to keep the entire salt dosing unit 100% moisture-free.
The cabinet in the machine is double sealed with heating elements in order to avoid condensation.
The machine is equipped with an electrical speed control so that the dosing valve can be adjusted up and down in speed; by this it is possible to adjust finely the dosing valve to give a smaller or larger quantity of salt on the fillets.
The required quantity of salt can be adjusted according to wishes and requirements.
The underlying belt can also be speed adjusted.
The machine is constructed in stainless steel and designed in our hygienic design. All materials used are FDA approved.
The belt can be removed sideways for cleaning.
