Electrofusion fittings by Unidelta are used for connecting polyethylene pipes for conveying gas up to a pressure of 10 bar (There may be different regulations relating to use in the UK, please check prior to instillation) or drinking water and fluids up to a nominal pressure of 16 bar. They are compatible with PE80 and PE100 pipes manufactured in accordance with EN 1555, EN 12201, EN ISO 15494, ISO 4437, ISO 4427, ISO 14236, ISO 13460 and DIN 8074. Due to the quality of the raw materials used, Unidelta fittings are resistant to a large number chemical substances (see chapter on Chemical Resistance) and UV radiation. The main applications of electrofusion fittings are combustible gas pipelines, water pipelines, fire-fighting systems, civil and industrial drains, industrial plant, irrigation, sea discharge, swimming-pools and cable ducts.
