Universal's Camera Registration (UCR) is a machine which features a camera that locates and detects the exact position of registration marks on printed materials inside the laser system.
The machine enables the user to work directly with vector-based Windows software, such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW and AutoCAD without importing or installing software plug-ins. Standard registration marks, including unfilled circle, solid circle, crosshairs and combined crosshairs/circle, can also be used with the model. New registration marks can also be accepted by the machine.
The camera has a resolution of 1 pixel and a 2.0 compatible focus lens. The camera is illuminated by an adjustable variable intensity. Two minimum registration marks are allowed by the machine, while a maximum of three marks are accepted.
