Magnetic coupling

Magnetic Coupling is a clutch applying hysteresis in magnet. In clutch, permanent magnets and hysteresis material are put together facing each other closely but not contacting. These clutches have a constant torque feature. And also the limit on transmitting torque is very stable through the service life, virtually un-limited life since permanent magnets are used. 8 basic types are available according to differences in magnet size to be mounted on. The transmitting torque limit can be adjusted through adjusting the gap distance between magnets and hysteresis material. Thus USUI Magnetic Coupling can be adopted in a wide range of required transmitting force. USUI Magnetic Coupling has been used successfully in many applications such as railroad facilities, semiconductor processing facilities, and pipe making facilities.
