We continuously pursue intensive development to align our range of VACODYM® alloys to market demands. Besides the magnetic properties a special focus was turned on the improvement of the corrosion stabitiy which was implemented in the alloys of the newly developed "8 series", consisting of VACODYM 837, 854, 863, 872, and 890. This series of alloys and the "6 series" already successfully launched on the market and consisting of VACODYM 633, 655, 669, 677 and 688, supply magnets that are particularly suitable for use in motor applications and can be used under normal ambient conditions without extra surface coating. For systems with operating temperatures of up to 150 °C, we developed the "7 series" of alloys, comprising VACODYM 722, 745, 764 and 776, which feature particularly high remanence induction values. Where optimum corrosion resistance is an additional issue, the high-remanence VACODYM 837 and 854 from the "8 series" are a further option.
