Valco Melton’s Low Level Glue Control is used with probe assemblies, which are designed to fit drums, vats and pressurized tanks. The solid-state system incorporates no moving parts. It consists of a low-level detection probe, which is inserted into the glue supply reservoir and an electronic control box. The control box incorporates both a visual and an audible alarm. When the glue level falls below the electrical contact point on the probe, the circuit is broken and an electrical signal is sent to the control. A flashing red light and an audible alarm alert the machine operator to take action.
