Valco Melton's linear metering systems use a servo-controlled piston to dose a repeatable amount of material to a dispense valve. The meter can be mounted to the end of a robot. By utilizing the speed through the nozzle and because the path is traversed without varying volume, it dispenses a consistent amount. The linear meter is designed for hot and cold sealants, mastics, RTV's, epoxies, greases, butyls, etc. Communication with existing PLC's and robot controllers makes the linear meter a flexible dispense tool in any automated environment.
