Simplex is the latest-generation smart manhole cover lifter, integrating in a single product the practicality of the rocker lever and the versatility and safety of trolley systems. The device, made of stainless steel, is extremely light (6 kg) and strong and is ideal for performing operations on medium-sized manhole covers of all shapes and materials. The universal attachment allows the lifting magnet the Hook mechanical bar and one or more interchangeable mechanical keys to be easily attached to Simplex. The trolley is available in 4 different designs: Magnetic, Mechanical, Hybrid and Kit Single Keys. Simplex complies with the provisions of the Atex Directive 2014/34/EU for use in ZONE 1 and ZONE 2. Compared to conventional levers and direct-pull systems, Simplex guarantees the operator: ✓ a safe distance from the open manhole during operations, avoiding the risk of falling inside it (very frequent, especially during closing phases); ✓ the upright posture with a push-down manoeuvre, in accordance with safety and ergonomic requirements; ✓ the significant reduction of effort, as it is designed according to the lever principle; ✓ control at all stages of the load being handled, averting the risk of the manhole cover falling into the hatch; ✓ the immediate adjustment of the trolley according to the manhole and the operator; ✓ the smooth movement of the load using the wheels, so as not to incur the risk of dragging operations.
